Citizenship & Civil Registry
Civil registry certidões (birth, marriage, death) are all requested through the same official portal: Civil Online (civilonline.mj.pt), run by the Institute of Registries and Notary. They cost €10, arrive by email/SMS within 48 hours of payment, and checking with the access code is always free.
